Atlus begins localization on Bumpy Trot and Metal Saga

Atlus just announced two new titles to look for in 2006. Both Metal Saga and Bumpy Trot were requested on Atlus Suggestion Board and now they’re going to be localized.

Bumpy Trot went through a name change, it will now be known as Steambot Chronicles. The game is hailed to have open ended gameplay where the main character, Vanilla, can stand up for justice or side with bandits. In Steambot Chronicles you’ll also be able to do a lot of side quests including farming and making music. Sounds interesting for sure.

Then we have Metal Saga, a more futuristic RPG where tanks dominate the Earth instead of dragons. A war wages between man and Noah, a computer bent on terminating its creators. You are one of the surivors, a hunter who’s sole purpose is to rid the world of this menace. As you probably guessed Metal Saga falls into the futuristic RPG genre, but it sounds look a cool title to check out.

Two new games getting a US audience? Sounds perfect to us. Look for more info on these Playstation 2 titles in the near future/
