Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition enters retail on January 24, 2006

Dante returns, now with his brother Virgil in Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening Special Edition. For the first time players can fight as Virgil who has a new Dark Slayer style. Remember the annoying demonic Jester, he now returns as a boss monster. For you sadists out there try out “turbo mode” where you can boost the game’s speed by twenty percent. Best of all Capcom is releasing DMC 3: Special Edition as part of the “Greatest Hits Collection” so you can get it for a mere $20. The Japanese version of Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition will land on 02.23.06, with the additional option of switching between Japanese and English.

Nice. DMC3 was fairly decent but the checkpoint system in the American release was way too brutal. I’d be all in for this for $20.

Jay Says:
