Wow, that was boring… Of course, I expect the actual gameplay to be the same, afterall, it’s a Square game.

Well, it seems some people are easily bought into the ‘rip on someone for having a different opinion with cheap foundationless slander’ face it, squaresoft and square enix are reliable for games with pretty pictures and no substantial plot or functionally interesting gameplay. They certainly haven’t done anything else since 1996, but they’ve worked pretty hard and managed to get the whole ‘make the crap look pretty’ thing down pat. And hey, it sells! So, what do they have to be ashamed of?

I don’t exactly agree, Square, I feel, has made some amazing games revolving around story. Namely FFVII in 1997 and FFX in 2001 (?). Just my opinion. I finally got to play it, Dirge, tonight and I was stunned how great it was.

Ok first things first all those who have criticized square now: have you even played one of the games? oh sorry if you did then you may be those mechanically thinking guys or gals that think video games=button mashing+thoughtless thinking+being like anyone else

Listen if the gameplay is not your type it doesn’t mean that everone should go burn down square and i mean i have the game and the W.O.W factor is going stupidly high! ( that is a good thing by the way :P ) And also who dares say that there is no “substantial” plot just to explain to you the story of FFX or FFVII would take half an hour not to mention the in-depth stuff… so before you try to look cool by trying ( cause you didn’t convince me in any way possible) to bring square down you should: know your stuff before talking and if you want to look interesting go strip on the streets :P ( hey i may sound harsh but don’t anything too seriously, it’s just that when someone attacks square i can get a little bit angry so :-)!
