Skill Extreme, which is currently in beta testing, has an interesting idea take easy to learn classic games and let people bet money on them. Make a living off rocks/paper/scissors or bank from Battleship Ship Battle. Skill Extreme also plans to host tournaments where players can grab iPods and other electronic gizmos. Details haven’t been completely announced on how payments would be made, if this is legal in the USA and so forth, but we’re interested in seeing what kind of community Skill Extreme picks up. Could this be an alternative to playing Chess for money in Central Park? They do have free internet in many libraries…

I’ve played on this platform and it’s awesome. I can only see it getting bigger and bigger. I’m addicted to Acromania, Octoneuro and Poker Solitaire. It’s also cool that this isn’t played on a website per se and I get to play it at work cos it’s not blocked
