This isn’t a Nintendo approved product, but an awesome fan creation. A group of map hackers used the Halo: Custom Edition as the base for the mod. The recreation as seen by the video is surreal. They added in the behind the visor interface from Metroid Prime, missiles and the charge beam. Seraphim one of the creators explains about the missiles, “The arm cannon was going to need missiles, so we needed to have them. We put rockets as the projectiles for the needlers. Not only did they home, they spat out like nuts! It was a hilariously fun modification.” The group said they’re still tweaking morph ball support with bombs, a bunch of Samus’ weapons like the ice beam and adding maps based on Metroid Prime. How did they get the morphball in the game? Seraphim says “I modelled the morphball that we originally used.. and we learned how to swap the model. We swapped it with the ghost.. and we had a floating morphball! WEEEE! Well, that was only fun for a little while, so we started messing with physics, etc.. and we had bombs. Eventually, we got soo freaking frustrated with it, we nearly gave everything up, so we started focusing on other parts of the mod.”
