Working Playstation 2 emulator outTired of dealing with disc read errors and you’re trying to save every penny to pick up a Playstation 3? The latest release of PCSX-2 might be a good solution while you’re waiting. It doesn’t work with every single release, but after one year in development in can play a fair number of games including La Pucelle Tactics, Dynasty Warriors 3, Rez and the intro of We Love Katamari. While it’s no replacement for a working PS2, it supports enough of the PS2 library to keep you busy until November.

It’s a fairly mediocre emulator. It takes far more effort than it’s worth to get a game running, and compatibility isn’t as good as people are making it out to be. One would think, though, that after about 6 years of the console being out, that they’d have come up with an at least SLIGHTLY better emulator at this point.

Ok, Now I want to see this for the 360, I’m sure the 3 processors can handle every bit of ps2′s quality and probably run it alot smoother
