Ochaken no Heya DS (aka that other virtual pet game that isn’t made by Nintendo) is about to come out later this month care of MTO. Instead of going for the realistic approach like Nintendogs, Ochaken no Heya DS has a cartoon / tamagotchi charm to it. In the game you can raise a dog or a cat and speak to it via the microphone. Ochaken no Heya DS also adds in room customization. You can design a garden for your pet to romp around in, place a TV for your pooch to watch and take on the role as an interior designer.
