Final Fantasy III dated

Square-Enix’s 3D remake of Final Fantasy III is going to debut on August 24th in Japan at the price of 5,980 yen ($53). This means Final Fantasy III is the most expensive DS game to date, excluding limited editions. As of now a price has not be announced for North America, but we do know the release date will be in September. Why the hell are they making it so expensive? It’s great that they’re finally doing something other than repeating the same old games on different consoles, but still, $53 is a little much, don’t you think? I hope it ends up being less in the US..

It probably won’t be the same price in the USA. Games tend to vary in price in Japan unlike coming out at a standard price points in North America. It will probably be $34.99 like the other DS titles.
