I stopped into Circuit City to see if they really were selling Blu-ray movies, which they were even though Sony delayed the release date of their Blu-ray player when I saw a clerk pulling a bunch of games from the shelves. A couple years in a row Circuit City has had a video game clearance typically take place around the 4th of July, so I figured that they were prepping for a big sale. After speaking to clerk, she told me that the sale begins this Sunday and they are marking lots of games down. I was lucky enough to purchase a few games early like Metroid Prime Pinball, Drill Dozer, Tales of Phantasia, Dr. Mario & Puzzle League and EyeToy Antigrav at the rock bottom price of $8.96 per game. Other games in the sale pile included Dragonball Z: Legacy of Goku 1&2 (GBA), Dragonball Z: Super Sonic Warriors 2 (DS), Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects (DS), State of Emergency 2 (PS2), Lunar Dragon Song (DS), Mario Golf (GBA), NHL 2K6 (PS2) and Wild ARMs 4 (PS2). If you want a cheap gaming fix show up this Sunday bright and early. While you’re there pick up Wild ARMs 4 and Tales of Phantasia they are worth $8.96 if not more.
Antigrav came bundled with the camera. If you don’t have an EyeToy its worth picking up at that price.
ths sale has actually been going on since yesterday, and is pretty well-documented at cheapassgamer.com. you can find the full list there, and most stores already have the discounted prices in effect.
