One fan’s idea on how Mario could move on the Wii

Before anyone outside of Nintendo had a chance to play Super Mario Galaxy on the Nintendo Wii, a fan made a mock up video of Mario 64 with a faux Wii controller. It’s interesting to see how the author of the video thought the remote would be used. For movement the player rotates their hand to make Mario move and points the controller in the direction to make Mario fly. Somersaults were done by pressing the jump button and shaking the controller. At E3 we found out that Super Mario Galaxy used the analog stick to make Mario move and there was a single button for jumping. See what one person thought could have been on the Wii below.
