Hyde is taking the next step with the debut of his album in the US. Hyde was the lead vocalist from the popular Japanese rock group L`Arc~en~Ciel. “Faith” will be released by Tofu Records and hits stores today.
“Faith” features two of Hyde’s hit singles “Seasons Call” and “Countdown.” For the making of “Faith,” Hyde worked with renowned artists Danny Lohner, former bassist for the Nine Inch Nails, Scott Garrett, former drummer for The Cult, and the guitarist and producer, KAZ. “Seasons Call” is used as the theme song for the anime series Blood+ and “Countdown” was the theme song for the Japanese release of the movie Stealth.
His solo debut in the US will surely strike a large fan base, but will also open the door for other J-rock sensations to the US. If you’re into Japanese rock and pop, then stay turned. There will surely be more artists to come.
Then you two should listen to Hyde and many others J-rockers songs. If you don’t understand, even the english ones, then find the lyrics on the internet, and read it and analized it, and then tell me who is more mediocre, Hyde or rock singers like My Chemical Romance or many other rock band that are coming out today.
I love how you morons comment about hating Jrock when you’ve arely scratched the surface of artists.
Hyde is one of the most popular artists in Japan currently, and he already has a HUGE fan ase in America, Europe and Canada.
What have you idiots heard?
L’arc? Dir en Grey? Pennicillin?
PLEASE give me a break. They’re by far not the est. How can you possily say anything without actualy eing part of the subculture.
Then again, your artists are just as dull and uninspired as the Jrockers you supposedly know.
Your children. Go die.

I don’t see why these mediocre “J-Rockers” even bother releasing their “music” in the U.S. — mostly because the only people that will take them seriously are the Japanophiles.
J-Rock is awful, and I do my best to avoid having to listen to it. I mean, it’s really, really, awful and uninspired.
