Support for the purple box has been steadily declining. Nintendo pulled Super Paper Mario from the Gamecube’s lineup and moved it to the Wii. Meanwhile retailers are pushing out Gamecube games to make room for Wii and the holiday rush of games. Circuit City dropped the price of Chibi Robo and Battalion Wars to $14.99. Previously both games were priced at the standard $49.99 price point and neither game is part of Nintendo’s Player’s choice collection. Reports from Cheap Ass Gamer say that GameCrazy dropped these games to $14.99 too along with Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Geist. For around $15, Chibi Robo is worth a look and Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance will keep you busy until the Wii’s launch.
