What can you get for your PS3 on day one? Sony just announced to expect for the PS3 in Japan until the end of the 2006.

Launch day (Nov. 11)

Mahjong Kakutou Club – 5229 yen ($44)

Miyasato Miyoshi Kyoudai Naizou: Sega Golf Club – 7140 yen ($60)

Genji: Days of the Blade – 5980 yen ($50)

Resistance: Fall of Man – 5980 yen ($50)

Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire – 7329 yen ($62)

Ridge Racer 7 – 7329 yen ($62)

Nov. 22

Mahjong Taikai IV – 5040 yen ($43)

Dec. 14

Armored Core 4 – 8190 yen ($69)

Dec. 21

Sonic the Hedgehog – 7140 yen ($61)

On the plus side prices for PS3 games aren’t that bad. Resistance: Fall of Man and Genji: Days of the Blade are at the same price point as standard releases. Even the most “expensive” titles aren’t so bad, Final Fantasy XII for the PS2 sold for 7,140 yen. On the other hand the software lineup is looking thin. Anything on the list interest you?

  • I’m actually interested in quite a view of those games. Ridge Racer 7, Genji: Days of the Blade, Resistance: Fall of Man, and maybe Sonic (I’m not excited for Sonic but I don’t mind picking it up). I’m not surpised about the prices. I always known they were going to be that.
