Bevy of budget PS2 and PSP titles re-released for the holiday season

SCEJ announced a new group of PS2 and PSP games that are getting a price drop by the end of November. These games are joining “the best” collection, which is the equivalent of the Greatest Hits re-releases in Japan although prices do fluctuate from game to game.

 

PSP games:

Metal Gear Acid 2 (Nov. 16)

Sengoku Musou (Samurai Warriors)

Bleach Heat the Soul 2

Harvest Moon Portable

 

PS2 games:

The Game of Life (Nov 9)

Tourist Trophy

Kagero II - Dark Illusion -

Armored Core Last Raven

 

Capcom has their own budget CapKore line up with Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike, Vampire: Dark Stalkers Collection and Haunting Ground coming out on December 14. Okami is also dropping in price on the same day and joining the Playstation 2 "the best" collection.

 

Not to be left out, North America is adding some third party software to the Greatest Hits line up. Look for these games at your local video game store for $19.99 and a red packaging stripe in the near future:

Def Jam: Fight for NY

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi

The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction

Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects

Mercenaries

Shadow the Hedgehog

The Sims 2

Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland

Ultimate Spider-Man
