Midnight launch parties for the Wii

Midnight launch parties for the Wii Nintendo is having official Wii midnight launch parties on 11.18.06 in New York and Los Angeles. The New York party is at the Toys “R” Us store in Times Square and the LA party is at the Universal CityWalk. If events are anything like the DS launch party (which had DJ Rap and DS demo stations) expect to be able to play the Wii and be entertained by special guests. People that come to the event will also have a chance to pick up Wiis. I wonder how long the line is going to be at Universal…
