On Saturday, December 2nd, Microsoft is throwing a party to celebrate the launch of Viva Piñata. From 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM animals from the TV series Viva Piñata are going to be hanging out at the Santa Monica Pier. You can meet up with Hudson Horstachio, Fergy Fudgehog and Paulie Pretztail. At the party Microsoft is going to have demo stations so patrons can try out the game. Other activities include pulling a piñata to win an Xbox 360 (what no piñata smashing?) and instructions to learn the Viva Piñata dance. Clearly this party is designed for children and families. Since families get so few gaming events specifically for them, props go to Microsoft for setting up something special for the E-10 and under demographic.
