Dance Dance Revolution the movie?

A movie based about Dance Dance Revolution? It might be a reality. Recently a screenplay called Dance Dance Revolution was sold to Liddell Entertainment. The movie is a comedy about “an underdog slacker who enters the snooty world of competitive dancing.” Mickey Liddell, the executive producer of Everwood, is the producer of the film and the screenplay was written by Beauty and the Geek winner Josh Herman. Now there is a chance that this movie isn’t based on DDR at all. The screenplay could share the same title as Konami’s foot stomping version of Beatmania or we could see people mashing arrows on the big screen.

Haha, I wanna see that movie, it could be like those emotional sports movies, some underdog kid who isn’t good at DDR could get trained by a DDR master and learn the secret of the DDR way. Wax on wax off lol. That movie would be to good.

The story: “In every game hall there’s a DDR machine but never has someone broken the worldrecord. But this Japanese kid will change the world of DDR. He will use all his dancepowers and his courage to complete this long and tiring quest.”

Images of the movie: A small nerdy Japanese guy dancing on the machine the whole movie untill he finally beats the record. :P
