Buso Renkin game in the works

Marvelous Interactive is working on a Playstation 2 game based off of the Buso Renkin anime. In the game you play as the series protagonist, Kazuki Muto and follow the story line from the beginning. Kazuki is given a kakugane a device that allows him to make an alchemic weapon and Kazuki makes the lance he is holding. Buso Renkin is going to be a 3D action game, which is going to be a step for Marvelous. They’re usually working on games like Contact, Chulip and the Harvest Moon series.

Hope it won’t be a dissapointment, 3D anime games tend to suck, the bleach games for the cube, naruto chronicles, unless you’re a dire fan its basically a dissapointment. Hope this game is different

I don’t really think anime games in 3D suck due of the aforementioned characteristic, but because developers say, “Hey this show is popular, lets make some money off of it” without any regard to content or quality. Sadly, this is the case with most licensed games. Thus my bar isn’t set very high for this one. Though I hope to be proved wrong , as I like games with a 3D cel-shaded style.
