Datel releases a MP3, video and homebrew player for the DS

Datel has a killer alternative to the Nintendo MP3 player and the Play-Yan. Their new Games ‘n’ Music accessory plays MP3s, movies and can run homebrew applications. Twenty five games come packaged on a CD and you can get more online. The device comes with a 128MB Micro SD card, which is probably nothing if you want to play MP3s, but it is enough to load up Lemmings DS. If you want to store your music library you can pick up a 2GB Micro SD card, the largest card Datel’s accessory supports. You can pick this up in North America for $39.99, which is cheaper than importing the Play-Yan or the Nintendo MP3 Player.

Does anyone know of a US retailer for this card?

Best Buy is selling it.

for some reason they refer to it as a ‘fun and games’ instead. I saw it in a local store for $35
