The Incredible Machine returns

I loved Sierra’s Rube Goldberg inspired game, the Incredible Machine. Back in the 90’s schools used the game to teach kids about physics and simple mechanics. The series seemed to fade away in the past few years, but Vivendi Games is starting up the machine with a new mobile phone version. The cell phone game has sixty new problems to solve and 35 items to use for your dream contraption. There is also a Xbox 360 Incredible Machine game in the works that Vivendi Universal talked about last summer. It’s supposed to come out in sometime in 2007, but no further news has come of it. With all of these releases of the Incredible Machine I wonder why there is no DS game being developed. Dragging and dropping pieces on the touch screen seems like the best control system for the Incredible Machine since the mouse.
