Slightly off topic to be sure, but I didn't know you owned your own gaming store Andreas. Can you tell me the name and where its located? I probably don't live even near where your store resides, but its just something I'd like to know.

If what Veilknight said about this game being a system seller is true, then Nintendo REALLY has their work cut out for them. Since around late October, I've noticed the demand for the DS to surge high dramatically. I know that Nintendo is working on producing more units to accommodate the growing demand both in what I've read and in what I see in my store's sales floor. We get calls for DS Lites on a daily basis and we're always either short supplied or out of stock.

Can't say anybody really saw this coming. Spore coming to the DS does make sense though, considering the handheld's big installed base. Talk about the most unexpected announcement since Dragon Quest IX was set for release on the DS by Square-Enix.

Spore correlates to DQ IX in the sense that it will be a system seller on release, selling immediately on its launch date and likewise pushing the handheld further into more people's home in the US and Japan, respectively.
