New Xbox 360 Platinum Hits around the world next month

Microsoft has a new wave of discount Platinum Hits titles coming out on March 16, 2007. Each game costs $30 and here is what you can pick up on the cheap:

Battlefield 2: Modern Combat

Burnout Revenge

Call of Duty 2

Dead or Alive 4

Fight Night Round 3

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter

Top Spin 2

Rockstar Games presents Table Tennis

New for Japan also on March 16 for 2,800 yen ($23) each:

Battlefield 2: Modern Combat

Burnout Revenge

Chrome Hounds

Perfect Dark Zero

New for Asia / Pacific, price per game varies by region:

Dead or Alive 4

N3: Ninety-Nine Nights

Project Gotham Racing 3

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter

Europe’s Platinum Hits line up 29.99 Euros ($39):

Call of Duty 2

Dead or Alive 4

Project Gotham Racing 3

Rockstar Games presents Table Tennis

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter

Lara Kroft Tomb Raider: Legend

Even though N3: Ninety Nine Nights isn’t a platinum hits game many retailers have been selling the game at the same $29.99 price point. Also the Asian version of GRAW is region free and since Asian region games have been selling below the price point of US games there is a fair chance that it will be cheaper to import it than buying it domestically.

I certainly know what titles to look out for when I finally purchase my Xbox 360, in particular I’ve really been eying GRAW, Call of Duty 2, Fight Night Round 3, and especially DOA 4 since their release. I always considered them to be some early hits for the 360 that helped the console stand out, as they really had that “next-gen” feeling when it came to graphics and gameplay. Now at $30 this only helps but make the console seem that much more irresistible.
