Watch: France celebrates Final Fantasy XII

Final Fantasy XII is out in Europe today and last night the Fnac on the luxury shopping avenue, Champs-Elysées, threw a party to celebrate the game’s launch. Plenty of people who showed up to celebrate their Final Fantasy pride at midnight, but there’s something different about the launch party… it looks hip. No people dressed up in moogle costumes running around, Hollywood style lights and house music instead of the Chocobo theme. If it wasn’t for the Final Fantasy XII countdown at the end of the clip, it could be mistaken for a Daft Punk launch party.

  • I just got back from the UK launch and I can guarantee the French one looks about a million times better than ours. That being said, if they did ours at midnight too then most of the people would’ve had to be back in their basements due to either curfews or restraining orders.
