Alien Hominid HD coming to XBLA this week!

alien_hominid.jpgAfter this past week had 0 new releases, and the few weeks before that had some old old retro titles, it’s nice to see Xbox Live Arcade get itself (at least a little) back on track. Though Alien Hominid is by no means an original title, it is a highly anticipated one, unlike Root Beer Tapper that was released to a might "Huh?" from the public.

Developed by The Behemoth originally as a flash game, then released on most major last-gen consoles, Alien Hominid HD is making it’s way to Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday. So what’s new? The Behemoth is going to up the graphics, present it in widescreen and incorporate online play over Xbox Live. They’re also saying there will be some added bonuses for those of us that have played the game before but there haven’t been any specifics.

Personally I’m excited for the game, I enjoyed the hell out of it on the PS2 and with the addtition of online play I’ll be fun to just back into the action.

The Behemoth is also working on another hotly anticipated XBLA title, Castle Crashers.

Talk about making up for a lack of XBLA releases this week by offering up a title that many have greatly anticipated on their service as Alien Hominid HD. This is more like it, Microsoft has always been good at delivering what the fans want for the most part.
