Worms on Xbox Live next week

Next week Microsoft is releasing Worms for Xbox Live. Besides the obligatory four player online play, which is probably enough to get most people to buy Worms, there 20 single player challenges to test your skills with. Also included is a random level generator so you always have new areas to blast people with. The price for Worms in HD is 800 Microsoft Points ($10) and if the online play works smoothly, it’s worth the price of admission.

Oh man I can’t wait to get my mitts on this game!

I’ve been a huge worms fan since it first came out, since I used to LOVE scorched earth back in the day.

This makes me happy.

Good to see Worms has finally met Microsoft’s high standards when it comes to XBLA releases, this is exactly the kind of strong multiplayer game that’s needed for the service’s already strong line-up of online titles. :P

With Alien Hominid HD released this week, and now Worms coming up next, we’re finally getting back to quality XBLA downloads.
