A huge, and entirely nerdy, artistic undertaking

How cool is this? Few things I see on the web make me sit back and say "Wow." It’s hard to perk up the nerd in me, I’ve seen far to much extreme nerdery in my day to just be impressed by your average "Mario Theme Song" rendition. These days you have to kick it up a notch. Really set the geek wheels spinning. Something so far out there that even the geekiest geeks out there look at it and say, "Wow, now THAT’s geeky."

Enter the Gijinka Pokedex on DeviantART. The Pokedex contains humanized renditions of nearly all the Pokemon. Why humanzied? Who knows, but one can appreciate the time and energy expelled in such an undertaking. Pokemon aren’t exactly known for their lack of variation. But there they are… Pikachu, Squirtle, Snorlax, Mew, and the rest. Pictured above are Crobat and Charizard. All done as people. In a way it’s really amazing.

And trust me when I say geeky, I don’t mean it as a slur. I’m a geek through and through, so we can appreciate the when one of us rises above the fold and really takes it to another level. I’m no Pokemon fan, but good job. Good Job.
