Usually Stacker machines have junk like budget PS2 games and if you’re lucky an iPod shuffle. One of the Stacker machines in the Metreon has a killer prize, a Nintendo DS Lite that you could win for a mere dollar. Now before you sink any money into Stacker know that it isn’t completely skill based. The point of the game is to stack rows of blocks by pressing a button to make them drop. It’s really easy when you start since blocks are four or three pieces long. As you move up the chain you only have one block to stack and you can’t miss putting it on your growing tower. When you get all the way to the final block the game cheats by not stopping a block when you press the button. The reason behind this is Stacker can be programmed to give prizes based on a set play ratio and not the player’s skill. You’re probably not going to get it on your first, second, third or tenth try, but what about your 50th? A DS Lite at that price sounds tempting… but then again there is no gurantee that you’re going to even get the DS Lite as a prize if you’re lucky enough to win one of the major prizes.
huh…i’ve never heard of such a machine before…kind of cool though.
I,ve searched the manual of that machine and the winning ratio is always 1/400, so it’s kind of hard to get it… or your can just sit and watch people playing and when you count about 350 start playing xD
Drauglin, I just been playing on this Machine in the UK, at the Trafford Center.
After placing £4 into it I managed to take my tower to the top to claim a Major prize.
Being in shock that I had actually won, I sent one of my brothers over the get the arcade guy, just to show that I had atually won so that no claims could be made that I hadn’t won if anything were to happen.
After around 5-10 mins, the man finally came wondering over. In this time I left the game in its winning state, when he came over the game seemed to reset itself and left the winning state into the state it goes when you need to put money into play.
The arcade man then said he could not prove I had actually won. I said it reset itself, but he seemed to think it wouldn’t do that.
Hence this post, I have to go and see the general manager tomorrow, but I am looking for the stacker giant arcade manual now so I can see if it tells me the machine will reset if a prize if not claimed after so long.
Where did you find the stacker giant arcade manual, is there a copy of it online which I can scan through and read over.
If anyone knows please email me on bladejohnst@hotmail.com or leave a message here and I will check again.
Many thanks
I won an mp4 player the other day on Stacker when i went ice skating. THe prizes were mp4, Camera, mp3, Nokia Phone…

my lil bro won one ds lite on his 3rd try!

Those prizes are nothing!!!!!!! When I went to Moe’s Grille in springfield P.A. They had 2 Howard Phillies jerseys, a razr phone, 2 tickets to the Phillies game and a MP4 PLAYER!!
PHILLIES ROCK!!!! WOOOO! GO PENNSYLVANIA!!!
all of the stacker games have little boxes inside of them where the owner can change the ratio of wins to loses, in other words, its rigged.
the owner can change it from 20 to 800 loses then 1 win. Has anyone ever noticed how you get to the last level but they always lose? that last bar is rigged. but the one person who comes after the machine has met it’s ratio and is able to get to the top bar has a chance to win, if he loses, the next person can still win, but once someone wins it resets. email me for instructions on how to win as many times as you want. just label the email, HOW TO WIN ON STACKER, my email is Braines9@yahoo.com
I sunk 10 bucks into one and didn’t win. Although, the machine in my mall has an Xbox 360, a PS3, and iPhone, and a digital camera

I won a major prize earlier today playing Stacker at BigLots in Carle Place, Long Island. After you win, you can choose which major prize you want. I took a PSP since it was the highest value of the prizes.
It’s easy to win, this is how. First practice these method on http://www.stoopidgames.com version of stacker.
Stack all the blocks to the left or right, whichever you prefer.
It should be easy to get to minor prize.
Then relax and take deep breaths, follow the cubes for three time and hit.
On the last one it is reaaaally rigged.
To win just meditate and then follow the cube six times and hit right before it gets to your tower, the game looks fast, but it is actully slow.
The cubes move slower then you press the button, so press early by one cube.
When you try bring a camra and a bystander to tape, so you can prove you WON, and no one can take that away from you.
Plus DON’T FILM BECAUSE IT’D HARD TO PLAY AND HOLD A CAMRA AT THE SAME TIME!!
QUESTION: After you win, how do you tyell the machine which Major Prize to give you?? there’s always several choices…howe do you selct the one you want??
OMG!LOL.I was at the arcade because my two friends wanted a wii.So i tried, and i was sure i wouldn’t win. Then, there you see me on the last box,and i missed by a box!LOL that was the closest i got.
This arcades are becoming very popular here in Cali Colombia, I’ve been one block to win the major prize like 3 times, but I think the machines hasn’t reached the winning ratio to give the prize.
please let me get it i’ve never even had a nintendo ds.and that sounds very cool.my adress is 1122 atlantic western waukegan illinois zip code is 60085.
en bogota esta de moda,
nadie gana nunca
si alguien descubre algun metodo le agradezco

That’s nothing. One machine in a local movie theater has an iPod Shuffle, DS Lite, Digital camera and PSP, along with the crap prizes like key chains and what have you.
