Marvelous Interactive working on a Negima game

Marvelous Interactive working on a Negima gameComing out for the Nintendo Wii in summer 2007 is Negima!? Neo-Pactio Fight, a four player fighting game that looks sort of like Power Stone. You can play with ten of the girls from the magic academy in the game’s original story. Probably one or less people actually care about Negima coming over to the Wii, but notice how Marvelous is bringing anime franchise after anime franchise to the Wii? This could be a good sign since the Wii has third party support that the PS3 and 360 doesn’t have. On the other hand some people might pigeonhole the Wii as another “kiddy” system (whatever that means). Either way if you’ve been following Funimation’s localized version of Negima a game is coming out for you and Famitsu has many more screenshots of the game here.

Hope Datel makes a Freeloader before this comes out, seems like it could be a good import for the Wii.

Didn’t the cube’s freeloader work with the Wii?

  • Veilknight

While Datel did release a Freeloader which works perfectly fine using the Wii its only compatible with imported Gamecube games. Unfortunately, Wii titles don’t work.

As of right now, there isn’t any adapters that allow you to play Japanese games on a domestic Wii.

Had you read the Manga? It not for kiddies… even though it’s about the kiddies *sigh*.
