A lot of Square-Enix’s North American buzz is about Heroes of Mana today, but before you mass your army of rabites, Dawn of Mana is going to be released on the Playstation 2 on May 22. For a limited time people who pre-order the game pick up “Breath of Mana” a CD with samples of the soundtrack from Square-Enix’s new Mana game. It’s the first time the series stepped into the third dimension and the English screenshots look beautiful.

Ahhh Dawn of Mana…what a great game despite its flaws (the JPN version anyway). Here’s hoping the localized version doesn’t suffer from the JPN bugs and what not. If Square-Enix fixes those bugs here, Dawn of Mana might actually have a warm reception.

Then, like Rogue Galaxy, Square-Enix can release a new version of the game in Japan called Seiken Densetsu 4: Director’s Cut.

Looks nice. Unfortunately, the Japanese version has gotten very negative reviews. We’ll see if they fix any of the problems.

Square-enix is not listening to their fans again, tsk tsk. Square its not that difficult really. You have a hit a game. Release what the fans really want. Not 3-D game that’s not even TWO player co-op!!!

Anyone else feel like me. I just want a TRUE MANA GAME.
