Importers check out Play-Asia’s “Crazy” Sale

For one week Play-Asia is having a crazy sale where you can take 20% off ANY game that isn’t a pre order or a release in the past thirty days and the game has to be in stock. Some import friendly bargains you might want to consider are:

Bit Generations – Nintendo’s retro Game Boy Advance titles that have simple graphics and puzzle like gameplay. Digidrive is my personal favorite, but I hear Soundvoyager is excellent too.

Jump Superstars / Jump Ultimate Stars – both are excellent 2D fighters, but I would opt to get Jump Ultimate Stars because of the online play.

Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Justice For All – importing it is slightly cheaper than buying it at stores and the Japanese release has an English option.

Gundam Musou – put the PS3’s region free feature to work and fight some giant robots.

If you have a J-PS2 or import ready system Gunstar Heroes: Treasure Box, Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix (Ultimate Hits version), Front Mission 5: The Scars of War are all under $30.

It’s too bad the Wii isn’t region free because Naruto is under $40 and a bunch of other Japanese Wii games are in stock. If you haven’t picked up Twilight Princess you can get a US copy for $40 and save a little, but the only real Wii deal are the component video cables for a mere $8.

This sale is excellent, but once items are not in the “24 hour” shipping status, the discount ends. I picked Mother 3 (finally) and Bit Generations: Orbital. I was going to get Bit Generations: Dotstream, but it discount on it was over by the time I made up my mind on what to buy.

I was super close to buying a JP PS2, but i decided to hold off.
