Giant robot fighting in Evangelion: Battle Orchestra

By Spencer . April 4, 2007 . 6:10am

Broccoli has been milking the Evangelion license by making dating games and the interesting text heavy adventure game, Meitantei Evangelion, where Shinji becomes a detective. These cater to the anime fanbase, but besides story changes they are in the same genre. Evangelion: Battle Orchestra aims to do something different. Instead of flipping through pages of text, Evangelion: Battle Orchestra is action oriented and lets players pit Evas against each other. Up to four players can fight in the same battles set in the middle of city. It’s far from revolutionary, but Evangelion: Battle Orchestra lets fans set up dream battles. Broccoli has Evangelion: Battle Orchestra scheduled to come out on June 28 for the Playstation 2.
