Not, bad. Almost seems like it could be a Japanese Teaser. Looks like they decided to keep a high pitch voice for Mia: geocities.jp/gyakugene/Obj_Chi.html

Personally, I would have preferred one like this in both Japanese and English since she doesn’t seem like a female anime character with a high pitch voice: objection.mrdictionary.net/go.php?n=1872590

This is basically the Jpn trailer w/ an Eng. voice-over. I think that high voice is more like for the younger Mia.

I hope this would come out in Japan too and sooner than Sept, as I would definitely like to continue playing game in Japanese, the name Ayasato Chihiro sounds more familiar than Mia Fey to me anyway. If not, there’s always the ancient GBA ver. Also, that is precisely why I want to play 3 first, to see how Phoenix was framed the first time before the 4th game.

Both trailers were available in Japanese before, I saw the combined one summarizing all 3 games long ago, and there’s an exact same one that is only about “Trails and Tribulations” w/ Jpn text, saw that on Capcom’s site quite some time ago as well.

My point is they tried to make Mia (Chihiro) sound younger to emphasize that this was 5 years ago. If you’re really bothered by it, there’s always the Jpn version.

If you mean the TGS trailer, ya, Capcom USA obviously took bits and pieces of that to make their own, but it turned out good enough. Point is, they didn’t simply translated it like they did with the Gyakuten Saiban 2 DS trailer.

Also, none of the GBA Gyakuten Saiban games have subtitles, they only have numbers.

You didn’t get what I was saying, I don’t like her voice in Japanese either, it doesn’t suit her. She should have a more mature and sexier voice. You rarely see a tall girl with huge breast and a high pitch voice in anime (not in the over 50 series that I have anyway).

Of course it’s only numbered as 1, 2, & 3 in the originals, I was only referring them by their eng. subtitles like “Justice for All” here.

Well, most Eng. dub in anime has certainly not been up to par, and sometimes the same characters’ portray are interpreted differently. Like FF XII’s Vayne, I was surprised that the Eng voice is much higher than the deep Japanese voice, but the British accent used for Archadians is equally charming.

I wouldn’t know, I don’t really watch dubbed. All my anime are subs, which is why I was able to comment on her Japanese voice.

Me neither since I’m able to understand anime even w/o sub, I just watch things as how they’re aired in Japan, but I don’t mind watching tihngs in differrent langugages that I’m interested in. I’m just saying that we haven’t heard Mia’s voice in Japanese so far from GS 1&2 or in the other commecials, at least not that I can remember.

Also, when you say you don’t hear dub, unless you import all your RPGs, you would’ve had heard dub in games like the US. Xenosaga Ep 1 to 3 or FFX / XII. I usually play the games I really like in both versions if time allows.
