Square-Enix has been plugging away at the Final Fantasy 20th Anniversary releases of Final Fantasy I and II. In the US screenshots you can see revised monster art, a larger eye friendly font and wait what’s this… a Japanese language option for a US game?! This nifty feature is shown in a picture from the Final Fantasy I menu screen.

    Woah, does that mean this option is in the Japanese copy of the game? hmmm

    Damn that looks good. This is how they should have remade FF3!

    Wow, Jpn language option is available in the U.S version for $29.99? That's a bargain. It's nice that they're redoing the script of these old games in kanji, since plain kana back in the NES days is a little jumbled together and hard to read.
