Square-Enix has been plugging away at the Final Fantasy 20th Anniversary releases of Final Fantasy I and II. In the US screenshots you can see revised monster art, a larger eye friendly font and wait what’s this… a Japanese language option for a US game?! This nifty feature is shown in a picture from the Final Fantasy I menu screen.

Wow, Jpn language option is available in the U.S version for $29.99? That’s a bargain. It’s nice that they’re redoing the script of these old games in kanji, since plain kana back in the NES days is a little jumbled together and hard to read.

Woah, does that mean this option is in the Japanese copy of the game? hmmm
