As much as some editor that I got an argument with via e-mail likes to believe Siliconera is their unaccredited ghost writer, we don’t do the research or write stories on Siliconera for him/her/space invader. We do it for you (the readers!) and the video game community. Some of you may have noticed I put up informal polls about Ouendan 2 and the Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass coverage this week. The reason I did this was to see if you want to find out more about these games. If we are writing pieces for our readers, you guys and gals should have a say in what we cover in playtests right? I experimented with this when I asked about Eyeshield 21 Wii coverage and polled everyone about our NIS America event coverage. I heard your voices about Eyeshield 21 and I arranged to cover it because you wanted to see more of it. The same thing happened with the NIS America press event coverage. There was a roar of excitement about Soul Nomad so we put up character profiles, trailers and battle system information. Don’t worry we’re still going to post up news and articles about small, unknown, obscure titles that probably no one knows about (I wonder how many people even knew what Tumiki Fighters was before we posted it might be coming to the Wii…), but we’re also going to be in tune with what you want. The way I see it is Siliconera is really your site and we’re your representatives into the sea of gaming. So as your humble representatives, I want to give you a louder voice. How does that sound?
Do you have any questions for Atlus about Luminous Arc? We are rounding up reader questions to send them next week, check out our interview and post up your questions.
It doesn’t look like many people want us to cover Zelda (only three votes? hmm… I’m surprised), until the US release. Should we skip it? Or should we pick it up in June.
As for Ouendan 2 I see a lot of you want extra coverage… video coverage. Sure! We’re on it! Sort of… I’m trying to make some kind of stand to record the top screen while I’m furiously tapping the circles on the bottom screen. Any ideas?
Also there is a contest coming later today… I just have to finish this one thing in Photoshop…
I personally come to Siliconera first for my gaming news. The reason is simple. You guys cover gaming news not really found any where else. Siliconera is quick snippets of obsucre gaming information. Thats exactly what I personally love. Also throw in the fact, we get gaming information thats ORINGANAL.
Siliconera, you have my vote for most original and fun gaming site!Keep up the good work!
What badfish said, except for the ORINGANAL part (or is this some inside joke I’m not aware of?)
I always check out Siliconera’s RSS before anything else. You guys are #1.

Reader Response sounds like a really great idea. It gives us the chance, as readers, to speak our minds about the games we’d like to see Siliconera cover.
You should definitely cover Phantom Hourglass, by the way. Nintendo usually likes to keep their games tightly covered under the wraps until the game gets further and further to the release date, so any kind of information you can squeeze out of this latest portable Zelda adventure is greatly appreciated.
