Simple Things: Alternate Excite Truck boxart

As video game fans it’s easy to get roped into intense conversations about real-time shading, bump-mapping, physics engines and whatever else is around the corner. But sometimes it’s the simple things in life that get the biggest smile out of us.

 

Take for example this picture, taken by a shopper and send in to GoNintendo.com. Whether the store clerk had too much free time on their hands, or thought it was worth a good chuckle doesn’t matter. It gave me a genuine smile… I really think it’s the little action lines around the wheel that did it for me.

 

Bonus points for the game being marked "new." The astute of you out there will notice the real cover art for Excite Truck right next to the box in question.
