A look at Sega Sammy’s Fist of the North Star pachinko collection on the Wii

Usually, I wouldn’t mention pachinko games here because you already know if you want to play a virtual pachinko machine on your console or not. However, Jissen Pachi-Slot Pachinko Hisshouhou Sammy’s Collection has some interesting features to note. It’s a pachinko game so players adjust the speed of the metal balls shot out of the machine and since it is on the Wii there is waggle control. Besides playing the five Fist of the North Star themed tables, players can test their skill in an online ranking mode. If you place in the top 100 you earn coins that are attributed to your Mii profile. That means Sega’s pachinko title, set for release later this month, takes advantage of two features most games don’t use WiiConnect24 and incorporating Miis into a third party game.
