No words need to be spoken for what you Final Fantasy fans are about to witness past the break. I’d break into a lengthy narrative about how awesome Final Fantasy IV DS looks as well as Final Fantasy Dissidia, and just how interesting Final Fantasy XII International: Zodiac Job System looks to be; but for now, let us relish in the fact that Final Fantasy IV DS has come to be. If you loved the Dark Knight and Final Fantasy XII and want to see Dissidia in action, check out the scans below via Namomura of NeoGAF.
FF IV: awesome. Dissidia looks interesting and yes it looks like it’s gonna be a game with different protagonists from the previous FF. Looks cool!
Wow, Dissidia looks pretty sweet. It actually looks graphically as good as a ps2 squenix game. I LOVE fighting games, so I’m interested to see how this one’s going to work. I also would love to have squall and cloud beating the hell out of each other…ahh yes. :p
Another FF remake? It looks alright, but I wish they would just remake ff6 already.
FF IV looks interesting, Dissidia, interesting. FF XII international better release state side. The new license job system is exactly what I think the game should have had.
Non SD Zidane and Kuja look pretty sweet, not sure what to expect from Dissidia, reminds me of the fighter Ehrgeiz featuring Cloud and Yuffie. IV on the DS looks great too.
I’m practically in tears over what they did to Cecil…well, not really, but I definitely don’t like it. At the start of FF IV, Cecil is the Dark Knight and in these screens he looks a lot more…feminine. Somehow, I don’t think the sulking darknight will be the same when he’s so long and thin.
Then again, we all know what my opinions worth ![]()
With FFIV DS finally getting confirmed after all the rumors spread about the remake over the Internet, it’s only a matter of time before Square ends up remaking V and VI in 3D to capitalize on the other versions. If FF III’s sales numbers on the DS are any indication, that should be more than enough to persuade the company into such an endeavor.

So does anyone know what “Dissidia” is about yet? It seems like a “Final Fantasy All-Stars” mash up. Hell… I can see S-E doing just that with Nomuyra at the helm.
Lame.
