The original Pokemon Rescue Team had watered-down gameplay, too many bonus dungeons, missing roguelike features (no item ID or meaningful equipment), and fairly low difficulty.

Huge Chunsoft/Fushigi no dungeon fan here, although I’ve yet to try the first PMD.

Aside from the excellent Izuna, there’s also Shiren (which I would love to see translated someday)

The Nightmare of Druaga is on my top 3 games of all time list.

Huge Chunsoft/Fushigi no dungeon fan here, although I’ve yet to try the first PMD.

Aside from the excellent Izuna, there’s also Shiren (which I would love to see translated someday)
