Localization changes in Naruto: Ninja Council 3

Yesterday I got an early copy of Naruto: Ninja Council 3 to check out. It is a mission based fighting game with the Naruto cast and there isn’t too much to say about it that isn’t already in the playtest I wrote up last year. The main difference is Naruto: Ninja Council 3 is set in the current US time line while Naruto: Saikyou Ninja Daikesshuu 4 is set during the rescue Sasuke arc. D3 Publisher had to make some cuts, but fans might be surprised with how much was left in Naruto: Ninja Council 3.

Somehow the Sound Four, which were barely introduced in the US timeline, snuck their way into Naruto: Ninja Council 3. You will get a chance to fight and unlock Jirobo, Kidomaru, Sakon, and Tayuya. However, all of them have their special techniques stripped to eliminate any spoilers. While those moves got the axe Kiba’s second special move “Wolf Fang” is from a future story arc and Sakura has healing powers even though she hasn’t learned them yet. There is also one new “feature” added in to fill a space on the Mission Bingo Card, a super move demonstration that picks out three random character’s secret techniques.

Unfortunately this is why we need fan translations of video games in addition to anime…

Cool, so the game isn’t that butchered. that is cool

Are any stages such as the Valley of the End in the game? I mean, granted, it is a huge spoiler, but if it is not elaborated in the context of the story. it is nothing more than a cool stage
