AtomScreen Gallery - Riviera: The Promised Land
Take a look at these screenshots from the PSP remake of Riviera: The Promised Land. The sprite graphics have been upscaled and something that isn’t mentioned much is Atlus created a brand new chapter exclusive to North America. Since the Game Boy Advance game is pretty tough to find Riviera: The Promised Land might get the extra attention it missed out on in its first North American release.

ewww… I was thinking about maybe picking this up, but those sprites… so unpleasing to the eyes… what is up with them?! the GBA verison had pretty sprites…

gonna download/buy it. I already own the gba one, but I like this one too.

I was smart enough to pick up the GBA release, so this remake doesn’t interest me terribly. It doesn’t seem like Riviera is gaining much from being on the PSP graphically, and I can live without voiced dialogue.
