Project Sylpheed demo is up

By Spencer . June 14, 2007 . 12:15pm

Microsoft announced Project Sylpheed has “gone gold” and it is ready to ship on July 10. We mentioned the date before and it is a week after Microsoft’s other Japanese to USA localization Vampire Rain. If you are on the fence about picking up Project Sylpheed or not there is a demo to check out on Xbox Live. Also Project Sylpheed is priced at $39.99, $20 cheaper than a typical Xbox 360 game. For shmup fans you’re getting a good deal and the $39.99 price point might encourage other gamers to try Project Slypheed out.

See some additional screenshots of Project Sylpheed past the break.

I’ve been waiting for this game since last August. Hell, I’m buying two copies to thank Microsoft for bringing it over from Japan.

Tried the demo, not bad. The battle was so chaotic and the sound effect was very nice. It’s nice to see these games being released here.
