The big announcement at Komani's press conference today was the unveiling of a brand new Silent Hill game (and not Silent Hill:Origins). The teaser was pretty light on details but we were nonetheless able to glean a few details about the upcoming game.
You'll play the role of Alex Shepherd, a soldier on his way back home from an overseas tour. His family life is a total mess with everyone fighting with the exception of his younger brother Joshua. Only one problem there, Joshua has gone missing. The story will take you through the small community of Shepherd's Glen to the always ominous streets of Silent Hill.
The game's being developed my The Collective for both the Xbox 360 and the PS3.
They showed a brief trailer from the show that you can see below

The voice-over from the teaser (I'm guessing the voice of Alan Shepherd)
"They say war is hell, but here are worse things. War changes a man, and nobody back home could ever understand. They never understood me. They say you can't go home again, but they're wrong. I just don't want to."
It's not much, but it's a start… and I'm quite sure we'll be finding out more soon. We've also got a few screenshots after the break
