A snapshot inside the Square-Enix store

Soon Square-Enix is going to open up their merchandise store in North America where you can spend your gil cash on stuffed chocobos and Cloud action figures. The goal of the store is to deliver Square-Enix merchandise directly to fans at a lower cost than importing or resorting to eBay. Some of the items Square-Enix plans to sell include the statue-like Final Fantasy XII figures from Kotobukiya Toys, the Kingdom Hearts Formation Arts and Final Fantasy jewelry. Speaking of the Kingdom Hearts figures, Disney was so impressed by these they commissioned Square-Enix to make Pixar figures that have nothing to do with the Kingdom Hearts series.

There are also going to be online exclusives like the tiny Final Fantasy III figurines and a hard to find Kingdom Hearts key. Next week at Comic-con Square-Enix is going to be around and you can see their goods live. But if you can't make it down to San Diego catch a preview of what they plan on selling in the photos past the break.

I’m eyeing the Cloud and Sephiroth statues shown in the second picture. Now, if they could somehow recreate Cloud doing Omnislash v.5 to Seph, that would be insane. The espers and the judge also look cool too.

Looks sweet! I really hope they open one in London someday…..

Ryu Kazama Says:

Same, I hope they have a UK store soon. Forbidden Planet charge too much for this stuff. £22 for Sora? Screw that! It’s about £16 at Orbital Comics.

BlueMako Says:

I’d really like to get my hands on the Jessica and Winry figures in that one picture…

The FF III figures look cute. Yeah, the DQ8 ones look great too, I dont usually collect or display figures, but Angelo and Jessica look awesome. Now we just need to wait for the Dragon Quest Swords figures.
