Endless Ocean Screens

Endless Ocean (Forever Blue in Japan) is just one of those titles that looks to be interesting despite its emphasis on underwater exploration and having the ability to use WiFi Connect to explore the ocean together with your friends. Though many will rag on the game’s lack of true gameplay, there’s no denying how escapist and amazing this game looks to be. Simply getting lost in the ocean would be a treat for many, and Endless Ocean aims to do just that.

With a release set for August 2 in Japan and an October release coming Stateside, Endless Ocean may be one of those sleeper titles that, much like other sleeper titles, provides more than a simple gameplay experience. GameWatch has posted many new screens of Endless Ocean before its release in Japan; so if these screens don’t make you want to get lost in the ocean, too, then perhaps staying far away from this game may be the best thing for you!

Wow, the screens look awesome! I’d love to get lost in an ocean like that! ^_^ I might consider giving Endless Blue a purchase!

Polo Says:

I wouldn’t mind exploring that ocean if you know what I mean.

Dan Zuccarelli Says:

It does look great for a Wii title, and I’m quite sure I’ll be buying it when it’s released!

Alexander Says:

This game looks beautiful. I’ve always been fascinated by the ocean, so I think I’ll really enjoy this.

I also like really like the fact that you can customize your soundtrack with your own mp3s.

Ken Says:

I like the last screenshot the most. It reminds me of those underwater movies I watched when I was a kid. I think this game would be awesome to play when you’re stressed out and want to get away for a while.

I’ve always been fascinated by all the ocean, like those shows on the discovery channel, playing it can only make the experience more immersive. At least this looks way more fun than “Flow”. I guess this is the next best thing if I can’t go down to Florida to visit Sea World.

phatfish Says:

I wonder, as your swimming alongside a large whale, will you get a Japanese whaling ship come past and harpoon it, then butcher it on the deck while its still alive.

Kind of ironic, a Japanese developer making a game about the beauty of the oceans, when they can’t stop destroying what makes them beautiful.

Shark Fin soup anyone?

Bottom picture, right column…

Is that some kind of stone structure/underwater temple?!?!?!? Lost city of Atlantis? We’ve seen lots of pics os sea creatures and coral reefs, but I am more intrigued by the shipwrecks and plane…wrecks you can supposedly explore for treasure and salvage. I haven’t seen any screens of anything like that, until today.

A whole lost civilization to explore underwater would be an awesome addition to what is already one of my most anticipated games.
