Broken drumsticks? An explanation of the Taiko no Tatsujin DS bug

By Spencer . August 1, 2007 . 9:43am

taikods.jpgThere is a bug in Taiko no Tatsujin DS that breaks the game when you utilize all three save files and dress up Wada Don in all three of them. Namco Bandai plans to replace the broken cartridges in the middle of September, but if you imported the game (like me) you won’t be able to get a replacement Taiko no Tatsujin DS cartridge. On the plus side the game isn’t entirely mucked up, as long as you don’t dress up the little drum in all three files you should be fine.

Is it just my imagination, or are these kinds of glitches becoming increasingly common?

Dan Zuccarelli Says:

So does it brick the whole cart, or just ruin your saved game? I’ll be careful when my copy gets here but I’m curious as to how detrimental this is.

And EvilAkito….. you’re totally right

Spencer Says:

@Dan - it says the you won’t be able to progress, not sure what that entails and I don’t think I’m going to experiment with my cart to find out. To be on the safe side I’m only using a single file.
