The ESRB updated their database with three new Sega Genesis games: Shinobi III, Ghouls and Ghosts and Landstalker: The Treasures of King Nole. Since the first two titles are already out in other regions they aren’t completely new news, Landstalker is.

A long time ago, before Sega and Nintendo were on the same team, Landstalker was seen as the Genesis’ answer to the Zelda series. The two games share a number of similarities like the elfish hero, hearts for a life meter and both were adventure RPGs during a time where the genre didn’t even have a name. Climax (not the same Climax that is working on Silent Hill Origins) developed the game and released a few of “Stalker” follow ups: Ladystalker for the Super Famicom and Time Stalkers for the Dreamcast. Supposedly Landstalker was going to have a PSP remake and maybe this is Climax’s way to test the waters first.
