More Cooking Mama coming next year?

505 Games who publishes the Cooking Mama series in Europe announced that have a deal with Office Create to release Cooking Mama 2 next year.

 

“Following on from the phenomenal success of Cooking Mama, we’re thrilled to be bringing Cooking Mama 2 to Europe,” commented Ian Howe, Managing Director, 505 Games. “Cooking Mama delivered a truly original IP and Cooking Mama 2 promises to build on its success”

 

Cooking Mama 2 is in development for the Wii and Nintendo DS. However, it isn’t clear if Cooking Mama 2 is going to be watered down for the DS or if they are different games with the same tentative title. Since more Cooking Mama games are being baked for Europe they should be coming to Japan and North America too.
