Robotic beetle battles in Konchuu Wars Speaking of Success I completely forgot about Konchuu Wars, which quietly slipped into stores at the beginning of the month. The game capitalizes on Japan’s love for bug catching in a new way by making a strategy RPG. However, you don’t have backyard bugs in Konchuu Wars. You have robotic bugs, customizable robotic bugs. Players can replace the claws of a mantis with a giant gun and make a mecha moth with a drill nose. I know the insect theme might not appeal to everyone, but the customization system is cool. Also Konchuu Wars is probably the only game where you can spend hours making an indestructible robotic snail.
