SNK sequels, Days of Memories 2 announcedGlancing over the Tokyo Game Show list again there are lots of entries from SNK Playmore. Most of the games have been announced before like World Heroes Gorgeous and KOF: Maximum Impact Regulation A. The one brand new entry is Days of Memories 2, a sequel to the DS dating sim game.

Samurai Spirits: Rokuban Shoubu is on the list too with a vague it’s coming out sometime in 2008 release date. Fatal Fury Special for the Xbox 360 should be coming this year. And look there is another Xbox Live Arcade game on the list, Metal Slug 3. There isn’t going to be any shortage of SNK franchises on store shelves in the future so get those arcade sticks ready.

snk playmore is cashing in the right way, with games like metal slug 3. i love it. if they put samurai showdown 2 on arcade, i will be extraordinarily happy. i don’t know what rokuban is meant to be, but i imagine i’ll like it (unless it’s 3d, in which case, it’s a big maybe).

There’s also Metal Slug to look forward to from SNK’s line-up, also set to hit Xbox Live Arcade in the near future. Metal Slug 3 certainly stands out as the main highlight of this run-n-gun series, as along with the original and X (which I wouldn’t mind seeing hit XBLA either), are my favorite installments in the franchise. With online co-op, leader boards, and achievements, there’s a lot of additions to these games to get excited about.
