Success always comes with imitators and Mattel is trying to cash in on the Guitar Hero fan base with I Can Play Guitar, a plug and play TV game with a plastic guitar. With the system you can rock out to Hot Wheels, Barbie and Spongebob. No really, those are the optional song cartridges. Obviously, I Can Play Guitar is marketed towards parents who love the concept of edutainment because only they can afford to shell out $100 for the system. There might be some value to it because unlike Guitar Hero you "play" chords by pressing the many colorful correct buttons.

I don’t see how this is a guitar hero knockoff at all. There has been this kind stuff for awhile……………….. If anything guitar hero is a knockoff of guitar freaks…..

do u knoe if guitar hero 3 is educational?

maxsparrow Says:

i highly doubt guitar hero is educational. it most likely does increase finger dexterity and probably improves general hand eye coordination, but I doubt it does very much at all to help you play a real guitar.
